Our research group and the University of Poznan (Poland) have reached a new cooperation agreement that will allow the interchange of researchers of both institutions during the next five years (2010 - 2013).
The agreement allows the participation of our staff in the Department of Information Technology (DIT) of the partner university.

Our new course on Usability Engineering will begin this week as a 4 ECTS Doctorate on Information Systems.
The seminar will take place at the EPSIG in Gijón, from 11 to 22 January, 2010. More information about this and other seminars can be obtainted in the courses section of this site.

Our participation as researchers and developers SIRIO Project has been finished after successful project completion.
The main goal of this project was the development of context-aware interactive guide for handheld devices about the main historical buildings of the University of Oviedo .
After completion last year, the project was resumed in a second stage whose main goal was the development of new design models based on ambient intelligence and accessible guiding systems for blind users.

Our proposal for a course on Information Architecture for the next Winter is on its way as a 4 ECTS Master in Web Engineering.
